Founded on August 20, 2009, by Master Chef Vasantha Perera, Andrew’s Healthy Food reflects his passion for culinary excellence and sustainable cooking practices. Chef Perera brings a wealth of global experience to his work, with a distinguished background in both culinary arts and hospitality management.
His academic credentials are as impressive as his professional journey, which spans continents and cultures. Chef Perera holds a Doctorate in Business Science and Culinary Arts from ICH in Brig, Switzerland, as well as a Master of Science in Food & Beverage and Hospitality from Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Additionally, he earned a Master’s in Food & Beverage US Standards from Cornell University in New York.
Chef Perera's career has taken him to a diverse range of venues, including luxury hotels, resorts, and cruise ships, where he has held senior managerial roles in both culinary operations and food and beverage management. His expertise has earned him the honor of serving as the personal chef to dignitaries such as President Bill Clinton, President Vladimir Putin, and various international celebrities.
Today, Chef Perera channels his vast experience into Andrew’s Healthy Food, a multi-level food and beverage operation designed to bring the finest in healthy, organic cuisine to the world. Through Andrew’s Project, he continues to innovate and inspire, offering a fusion of health, flavor, and global culinary artistry.
